new life, new job, new house

Hello lovelies!

I'm so sorry I have somehow neglected to update my blog.

Last Tuesday marked my first monthsary of being married to a sweet and wonderful husband.  It has been magical that even moving all my stuff to a new house seemed so fun.:)  A looooot of exciting things have happened since I got married.  And one of those is getting a new job.  I have been wishing for this position/job since 2001!  And as a bonus blessing,  the university also offered my hubby a job! :D

By July 1, we will be starting our new life together in the province.  I am so glad to be (finally!) free of the fast and busy city life.  But of course, I'll be back to Manila from time to time to meet with my friends and do some shopping. :D  This weekend, we are once again moving our stuff to a new place where we are going to build our family. :D  I am so excited because there will be plenty of room there for my dolls and my craft supplies.

I do not have new wedding pictures to share with you now but I have lots of my girls'.  And I am starting a new blog dedicated entirely for them.  :) No posts there yet so I'll share as soon as I have uploaded my first post there.

Check out more of their photos at their flickr (yes, I started their own flickr account!). :D

Have a super fun and exciting weekend lovelies!

a fun and exciting day

Hello lovelies!

Maria, Pepper and I are so excited to meet Abbey and Janice tonight!  We prepared some special gifts for Abbey.  here they are...

this woven backpack

this buhi sports/duffel bag

and

this soft pillow (2 sets - 1 satin pillow and 1 red pillowcase) to rest her head on at night.

We are so excited to give these to her.  We wrapped these in a special bag. Maria and Pepper made a simple little card for her too.

Oh dear! I can't wait!

great find

Yesterday, we went to Megamall after office to pick up DH's new camera.  He promised me that i will have his old and dependable D40. Yipee! :) Then we went to Greenhills to look for a charger.  And look at my treasure find last night...

I bought this at Toy Kingdom in ViraMall.  100 pesos is a great deal for the 2 pairs of shoes and a bag!  The dress is gorgeous on Maria but it needs altering because the top is HUGE on her.  The doll will go to 2 little kids i know in the province.

Here are my lovely girls trying on their new accessories...

I would also like to share these photos of Maria and Pepper at CWC in Bicol.  These were taken by my cousin Raymond using my DH's D40.  The camera on the background is Raymond's.

Aren't they lovely? :) I'm so in love! How about you? What makes you feel so in love right now? :)

Weekend Sewing for Blythe

Hello lovelies!

How was your weekend? We had a long weekend here in the Philippines in celebration of our independence day. :)  I spent my weekend moving out from our apartment in Sampaloc to our home in the province.  I'll be working there starting June 22. I have been waiting for that job since 2001! :D

I still haven't organized my stuff in my room in our new little home.  I just realized how huge our (me and my DH) collections are!  We have no space for all of them in our room.  So they'll be kept for now until we got our new bigger space. :)

But I made my weekend productive by ...

sewing!

yup! i was making dresses for my little babies. :)

here's Pepper with her new dress.  It's my first ever hand-sewn dress and it's not perfect but Pepper loves it so much.  She's gonna wear that when she meets Abbey this Thursday. :-)

And here is Maria with her new dress too.  She loves purple and the color combination reminds her of Ube Keso (Yam and Cheese), her favorite dessert!  She'll be wearing this to meet Abbey too.  but i'll add some more embellishment on it before Thursday. :-)

And here they are in Megamall yesterday...

:) i also made a little something for Abbey but I'll post it once i finish with all of her gifts. :)

see you again tomorrow!
