Something Good

Perhaps I had a wicked childhood
Perhaps I had a miserable youth
But somewhere in my wicked, miserable past
There must have been a moment of truth

For here you are, standing there, loving me
Whether or not you should
So somewhere in my youth or childhood
I must have done something good

Those were the lines i've been singing in my head on my wedding day.  It was the happiest day of my life - at least for now. ^_^ We have truly felt the love of all our families, relatives, and friends. I could not ask for more.  But blessings kept coming from all over and it's very overwhelming.  So we are very grateful and we want you all to know how much your love means to us.

Lots of pictures have already been uploaded in Facebook.  We had too many photographers, I haven't finished checking all the shots taken that day. ^_^

I'll be posting some pics here after our trip to Caramoan.  We'll leave tonight.  But before we do, I want to share with you 2 of my companions.  Yes I have 2 new companions, aside from my dear husband! ^_^

Here they are...

Please meet Maria...

she's a wedding gift for me, straight from Japan, from Mom Yohko...

We bade her farewell yesterday noon at the airport.  We will all miss her.  Here is Maria waving goodbye...

And then from the airport, my dear husband (*giggle*  i still find myself giggling everytime I call him husband *giggle*) and i met my old dear friend at Mann Hann Megamall.  She helped me in adopting Pepper from Singapore.  Please meet Pepper...

with her cute little puppy! I don't have a name for my puppy yet because I was expecting Pepper to arrive nude and without any of her stock.

Chacha and I had fun with Maria and Pepper at the restaurant...

And here's a picture of Pepper with Iron Man last night...

Maria has a picture with Iron Man too but Pepper might get jealous so I won't show it anymore.

Aren't they gorgeous!?!  I love them so much and they will travel with us to Caramoan tonight.  I'm sure they will both enjoy the beach.

Till next time. Ciao!

xoxo,

heaven

hello lovelies!

I've been in heaven again since last week.  I just want to drop by and tell everyone some happy tales that happened during my MIA days.

First would be the arrival of my bridesmaid from New York.  She's a very dear and special friend and she came home just to be with us on our special day.  We went shopping for 3 days last week together with my 2 special friends too and we had a blast!  I have missed them all so much and i was so glad to be with them alone before my BIG day. ^_^ Shopping is really a happy bonding moment with friends even if we're just buying a pair of socks or a handkerchief.

Then they all gave me a bridal shower last Friday.  It was awesome! We got to be with 2 old friends and 1 new acquaintance too.   First, we shopped for shoes, clothes, and scarves in Megamall until past 10pm. Then we ate our late dinner at Kalye Juan in Timog.  Their sisig is the best of all the food we ordered. Then at midnight, we went into 'the best' strip club in the area (according to our 2 gay friends).  And they were absolutely right! It was my first time and it has been fun.  I still smile every time I hear music that reminds me of the place.  My friends were the bestest ever! ^_^ Oh and yes, they pampered me with gifts too. I never thought a bridal shower would be this fun! ^_^ We separated on Saturday morning after a breakfast at McDo.

Saturday: Fiance and I were on a bus to the province when my friend from Singapore called me and told me that she already has my Pepper (Simply Mango Blythe)! Weee! And she posted Pepper on my Facebook wall.  Here she is...

Isn't she gorgeous!?!

I was soooo happy last weekend.  I do not know the best word to describe this but my heart felt like it was about to burst from so much happiness.

Then when we got home, we saw how much effort my parents are doing to provide me with the old-fashioned farm wedding that i want for Saturday.  They have worked hard on this since February.  Fiance was speechless and we are sooooo grateful and proud of our parents for giving us everything we need!

Then my dear cousin drove us to Japanese Garden in Caliraya to take our pre-nup photos yesterday (Sunday).  His eyes are the best!  i love all his shots! I want to share the pics soon! ^_^

I couldn't ask for more.  I feel so blessed and so loved. That's why I do my best not to disappoint any of them - my family and my friends.  That's why I do my best to show them how much i love and respect them too.  We only have a very short time in this world, so it's best for us to embrace and treasure all the good things coming our way and to let go of all the negativity that burdens our lives.  Material things are immaterial in this life.  What matters most are true and real love, true and real friends, a loving and supportive family, and a healthy state of mind.  And I feel like I have them all right now.  So that's why I am in heaven.

i love you all!

P.S. oh i also remember seeing Venus on top of a crescent moon yesterday.  It was a lovely sight at dusk.  but a little bit scary.  i wondered if it has any astronomical significance or something but the news this morning claimed none. love, ails

sweetness

Yesterday, after office, my fiancé and I went to Rustans Shangri-La to check out their Fire Sale.  Something happened there and smoked items are being sold at very low prices.  We arrived around 6pm so most of the items are already gone since the sale started in the morning.  We browsed around trying to find some treasure to take home.  Then we found this...

It's a musical jewelry box for kids by Pecoware but I think it's a perfect drawer for a Blythe.  It costs Php 695.75 originally but the sale tag shows Php 208.50.  The top of the box with the mirror just needs some cleaning up.  Fiancé grabbed it and went straight to the cashier.  He said it's for my future doll.  Isn't he the sweetest?  To our surprise, they lower down the price to around Php 180.  We were both happy.

After that, we went shopping for fiancé's belt and a  pair of pants.  My heart was lifted that night after being bruised with the lost of Pepper.

And this morning, the seller contacted me with another offer.  I grabbed it even if I am not too excited with the doll's hair color.  I asked a friend in Singapore to buy it for me.  She's coming to the Philippines on May 26 so I asked her to buy and carry it for me.  She said she'll text me when the doll is already with her.  She's a dear friend and she's very sweet.  But until she has the doll, I won't rejoice as much as i rejoiced for Pepper.  I don't want to be hurt again that way.

But I already have a name for her.  I'll name her Pepper even if her hair is not like Peppermint's.  because her expression reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow's character Pepper Pots.  Gwyneth is one of my top fave actresses anyway. ^_^

Well, that's all i can share for now.  have a sweet day lovelies!

Mwah!

New Addition - cancelled

:(

some unfortunate event happened ... i don't know what to say.  my heart is broken right now...

I adopted a new family member online.  It's the "New Addition" I was blogging about since yesterday.
It's something that I will supposedly receive at the end of this month.  But when I opened my inbox a few minutes ago, this is what i received from the seller...

"I'm so sorry, but when I was about th pack her, I left her unattended for the shortest while and my 3 year old got to her in a split second with a pair of scissors! Now Peppermint is having a really bad haircut and I cannot sell it to u. Sad
This is so unfortunate!
I will try to look thru' my collection again and see if there's another girl that will fit your budget and that u will be interested in. Will contact you again soon.
Once again, so sorry for the mishap...
Sigh... I'm very sad too...."

Yes, I was adopting a Simply Peppermint Blythe from a seller in Singapore.  It was a gift for myself before I get married on the 22nd.  It was one of the MAJOR reasons why I was in heaven since yesterday.  And it was the ONLY reason why i hosted a "Guess What? Candy" this morning.

And since, she (Peppermint), is no longer coming, I guess I have no more reason to continue the Guess What? candy.

I'm so sorry lovelies...

I hope you will all understand...

i need your hugs, ails

New Addition Guessing Game Candy / Giveaway

I'm still in heaven for so many reasons!  And to share this bliss, I'm gonna give a little surprise present to one lovely reader and follower of this blog.

All you have to do is guess what I am referring to in my previous post.  I have given there the first clue.  I'll add more clues in this post.  Just leave your guess in the comment section below.  All participants with the correct guess/prediction will qualify for the random drawing.  You can enter as many guesses as you like until May 30, 2010.  You can either enumerate your guesses or enter one guess per comment.  I will draw the winner on May 31.

The surprise present will depend on where the winner lives coz i will consider the shipping fee.  I might just order something online and have it delivered to your home.  But I assure you that it will be a happy little present. ^_^ International participants are welcome to join in this little game. ^_^

More clues:

It's gonna be as sweet as this cupcake ...

... as lovely as these hair pins...

... and as dainty as this squid...

Can you guess it now? ^_^

Ok, I'll add one more clue...

It won't have a problem munching this...

^_^ *giggle*

Happy guessing lovelies!

MIA to the maxx!

Sorry lovelies for failing you BIG time on updates.  Wedding preparation is still on going.  Wish i had done all of this last year. My to do list for the wedding is as follows:

- send out invites! e-mail invites!
- finish Misalette
- decide whether to wear a veil or a handmade headband (pic for inspiration is not with me right now)
- list down photo prompts
- guest notes & guest book
- gifts/souvenirs for our Godparents
- polish honeymoon plan / IT / etc.

that's all i can think of.  i know some other things will come up every now and then but I'm trying to do this in a happy and positive kind of way.  i want to have a happy wedding and not a stressful one so i try to worry less on imperfections and unplanned situations.  But I am super excited!  and this excitement gives me butterflies!

oh, and i am in love right now with Blythe!  in fact, i'm bidding on e-bay to have at least one for myself before my wedding. i wanna gift myself a Blythe on my last days of being single!  if i lose and i couldn't find a lovely Blythe within my budget, i will definitely adopt/buy one after the wedding.  Here are the sites responsible for this love and cravings!

Check them out and fall in love too!

I have friends who are also into dolls.  One has a HUGE collection of Bratz and the other has 3 Pullips.

I hope i can find a dark-haired Blythe at $100  (including shipping).  I am willing to pay for a used but in good condition Blythe.  In fact one of my bids is for a USED Welcome Winter Blythe doll with some minor scratches.  So if any of you lovelies know of someone who is selling a Blythe doll around that much, please tell me.  I really really want to buy one for myself. ^_^ Thanks!
